William Storms, Mickey, began his career at Merrill Lynch in 1985 in MBS Research building analytical models and supporting the trading and investment banking operations, then went on to hold roles in institutional sales and MBS trading. After 10 years at Merrill Lynch, Mickey moved on to work for Nomura in their CMBS areas. Mickey joined Andrew Davidson & Co., Inc. in 1996 and spent nine years helping to build analytical models and consulting on mortgage risk, valuation, regulatory, and accounting. At AD&Co, Mickey also managed an RMBS hedge fund portfolio, and then went on to do the same for a West Coast money manager. Working for Renewable Funding, Mickey helped pioneer structured finance solutions for residential level renewable energy (PACE) before returning to AD&Co in 2013. He has extensive experience in evaluating the risk and relative value of mortgage loans; structured securities; derivatives; mortgage capital markets; economics; and the regulatory and accounting frameworks.
Mickey holds a BS and an MA in Economics from the University of South Carolina.
