We can see from this table that the most predominant product is the 5/1 hybrid, and that FNMA has originated significantly more pools of hybrids compared to FHLMC. What we have also seen in more recently originated pools is that IO hybrids are becoming the dominant product originated in the hybrid world, going from about 16% of all pools originated in 2004 to about 62% in 2006. Overall, hybrid production is steadily decreasing from the high point in 2005.
