The 2007 version of our annual client conference, “Managing Prepayment & Credit Risk in Volatile Times” rapidly approaches. The event will be held on June 7th in New York City at the national landmark and opulent Capitale and on June 15th at the prestigious St. Regis Hotel in San Francisco. The past six months have been challenging but interesting for our industry and it is our hope the conference will provide some insight that will help you manage the risks and exploit the opportunities at hand.

More specifically, on the credit side, we will discuss how we are leveraging the successful January launch of LoanDynamics™ Model v1.0 with a new release calibrated to a broader data set. This discussion will include insight into the actual versus forecasted performance of the model, tools for harnessing the data required to feed the model, and enhancements to loan type coverage and functionality. We will also discuss and demonstrate our approach to a true stochastic Credit Based OAS system that utilizes our home price generator and valuation routines.

On the prepayment model side, we are excited to share with you our research into how credit quality, payment options and home prices impact speeds. Along these lines, we will discuss Option ARMs, a revised model for non-agency hybrids, and enhancements to a user defined HPI forecast. Other topics include a discussion of risk neutrality for ARMs and new data visualization tools we are developing that will enhance our Dynamic Performance Reports.
